Nancy Kneeland added that we should hold the <br /> meetings quarterly. <br /> Mayor Aplikowski suggested having a joint meeting with the Planning Commission and EDC at <br /> some point to discuss sign ordinances, etc. <br /> Barton noted that planning for the next event should start in January. <br /> The Red Fox/Gray Fox agenda item was tabled to the December meeting. <br /> Gateway Signs <br /> Karen Barton provided some background on this item: this has been an ongoing issue since <br /> 1996. Michelle Wolfe, City Administrator, would like to see some resolution to this issue, <br /> regardless of the strategic plan. <br /> Mayor Aplikowski provided additional history of the issues. <br /> Dale Beane indicated that he would like to see a copy of the previous sign design. Karen Barton <br /> indicated she would locate that and get it to the EDC. <br /> Barton also indicated the need to coordinate efforts with the Planning Commission on this issue. <br /> Dale Beane suggested limiting it to six signs with perhaps a couple of larger signs and the rest <br /> smaller. <br /> Karen Barton provided a brief TCAAP Update. <br /> Meeting Adjourned at 9:00 am. <br /> Next meeting to be held Wednesday, December 20,2007. <br /> 3 <br />
