Motion to Approve 2016-18 Agreement for Law Enforcement Services <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member Resignation <br /> <br />Mayor Grant indicated that there was no letter of resignation within the packet for the Council to <br />accept. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated that a lengthy email was sent from Jennifer Stephens to City staff <br />which contained her resignation submittal. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes noted that she had read the email as well and believed that this should <br />serve as notice of her resignation. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant was in favor of tabling action on this item until the City received a lett er of <br />resignation from Ms. Stephens. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Grant moved a motion to table action on this item until the City <br />received a letter of resignation from Jennifer Stephens. The motion failed 1-3 <br />(Holden, Holmes and McClung opposed). <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br />motion to Accept Parks, Trails and Recreation Committee Member <br />Resignation. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant requested that the email from Ms. Stephens be distributed to the entire City <br />Council. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br />
