July 1974 <br />(lUtlm (trier <br />Published by the Arden Association <br />MEETINGS OF THE COMING MONTH <br />Approval was given for the final plat of Hunters Park including Block 1 and for the preliminary plat of <br />Hunters Park second addition. <br />Access roads and traffic patterns for Hunters Park was discussed. A problem arises since the proposed <br />extension of Harriet Avenue would cross privately owned land, not controlled by Dreyfus Interstate <br />Development Corp. An alternative would be to provide access to Hunters Park from County Road E. <br />Planner Schmid and Dreyfus are to study the alternatives. <br />The Council authorized payment of $150.00 to SPARC and $362.48 to NSDAC (previously approved.) <br />A bid form with fixed mobilization cost was chosen for soliciting bids for sealcoating village roads. <br />Engineer Lund reported that he will schedule a pre -construction conference regarding the Lambros Ditch <br />project prior to the beginnirgof construction. <br />Treasurer O'Kelley reported that a $50,000 investment will mature on May 2, 1974, and will be reinvested <br />at the First National Bank of St. Paul. He expects to invest $100,000 for a better interest rate. <br />The Council approved issuance of a permit to the Unification Church, 3200 17th Avenue South, <br />Minneapolis, allowing them to solicit funds in our village, but denied their request to waive the permit <br />fee of $15.00. <br />Vi Iloge Counci I Village Hall - 1450 W.
