Regulations include three speed zones, <br />hours of operation, horsepower maximums, and noise limits of 72 decibels from the lakeshore. Fine is <br />$300 maximum, or not more than 90 days in jai I So plan your Johanna weekend now with your noise <br />meter, and your buoy zone map. <br />Vi Iloge Counci I Meeting - 24 June 1974 <br />Walt Harmer, Reporter <br />Due to previous delays, the council approved a time extension to Northdale Construction Co. on the <br />Lambros Ditch project until the end of August, 1974. <br />Treasurer O'Kelly reported an investment on June 19 of $350,000 @ 10.8% interest for two months and <br />he will invest $310,000 @ 11.15% interest on June 25 for 90 days. <br />The Council approved issuance of the Building Permit for Steak Inn subject to the receipt of specified <br />documents. Steak Inn's location is on the south side of County Road E between Lexington and Highway 51. <br />In regard to surface water regulation on Lake Johanna, a center island area will be marked with buoys <br />to indicate an area not suitable for power boating. <br />The Council approved a door-to-door sales permit for Minneapolis Recreation Department for the sale of <br />candy. <br />Access to Ingerson Park other than from Lexington Avenue is being sought. The property of Mr. Moss is <br />currently being used as access to the park. No firm or definite decision could be arrived at. <br />Approval was given for payment of the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department Contract in the amount <br />of $8,670.00. <br />Planning Commission Meeting - 2 July 1974 DaveLocey, Reporter <br />Commission approved next Dreyfus addition subject to engineers swearing that no part of Tiller Lane will <br />flood. <br />North section of Pemtom approved with contingencies on drainage, change in tot lot location, firelane <br />changes, parking area designation, fire chief consideration on turnarounds, wider streets in portions, <br />and parks committee concurrence on money instead of land. Again residents of Pemtom Association in <br />,attendance, and expressed general satisfaction. <br />Truman Royce and Leo Anger garage variances approved with contingencies. <br />Mounds View School to add two classroom buildings.
