These trained volunteers are <br />enthusiastic about the value of these three- <br />hour, one -time -only sessions which can teach <br />you and me how to handle a possible life or <br />death emergency until professional medical <br />attention can be given. <br />'These "classes" would be held in your own home for small groups - minimum <br />of six people, maximum of twenty-four - where your "teacher" will come. <br />(There would be a minimal per -person charge, depending on the size of the <br />group, for rental of the mannequins used as teaching aids.) Mrs. Donald <br />Roach (Ruth) has taught a number of these courses and has offered to coor- <br />dinate and teach daytime "CPR" techniques locally. You organize your group <br />and Ruth will do the rest -- call her at 633-3390..... The Arden Hills Community Service Club <br />holds one money -raising event annually, and this money is donated to the <br />Arden Hills Parks & Recreation Department. This year's event is the eve- <br />ning of Duplicate Bridge at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 16 at the Lake Jo- <br />hanna Fire Station, 3242 New Brighton Road. (You will remember that the <br />1976 Memorial Day Parade was organized by the Community -Service Club, and <br />the fine job the group did with that reminds us of the quality of their ef- <br />forts.) The bridge tournament is for all levels of Duplicate players, in- <br />cluding those who have never played Duplicate but wish to give -it -a -try in <br />a casual, informal atmosphere. For the more serious players, although no <br />Master Points will be awarded, there will be a Director, Curtis Chase, who <br />
