While there
are not any formal boat or public access points, the lake is used for fishing
purposes by the public. In the future, it may be necessary to develop a
formal agreement with Bethel University for public use and a parking lot
for users.
The lake has a dominance of blue-green algae and heavy algal blooms
throughout the summer. Water flows southwest out of Lake Valentine into
the County Ditch 12 and eventually into Long Lake in the City of New
Brighton.
Round Lake
Round Lake is approximately 125 acres in size and has a subwatershed of
0.83 square miles.
