Structures or areas of ground used for the storage <br /> or parking of motor vehicles. <br /> Subd. 125 Open sales lot. Any land used or occupied for the purpose of buying and <br /> selling any goods, materials, or merchandise, and for the storing of same under the <br /> open sky prior to sale. <br /> Subd. 126 Open space. (See landscape lot area.) <br /> Subd. 127 Ordinary High Water Leve1M-ar-k. The boundary of public waters and <br /> f wetlands, and shall be an elevation A fnar-k delineating the highest water level which <br /> has been maintained for a sufficient period of time to leave evidence upon the <br /> landscape and as determined by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The <br /> ordinary high water mark is commonly that point where the natural vegetation <br /> changes from predominantly aquatic to predominantly terrestrial. <br /> Subd. 128 Parking space. A land area of such shape and dimensions and so prepared <br /> as to be usable for the parking of a motor vehicle, and so located as to be readily <br /> accessible to a public street or alley. Truck loading and unloading space shall not be <br /> included in such area. <br /> Subd. 129 Pathway, pedestrian way. A public or private way, running across or <br /> located within a platted lot or block or an unplatted parcel of land, used primarily for <br /> pedestrian traffic. <br /> Subd. 130 Pawnbroker. (a) Except as provided in paragraph (b), "pawnbroker" <br /> means a person engaged in whole or in part in the business of lending money on the <br /> condition that it may be redeemed or repurchased by the seller for a fixed price within <br /> a fixed period of time. <br /> (b) The following are exempt from the definition of "pawnbroker." Any bank <br /> regulated by the State of Minnesota, the comptroller of the currency of the United <br /> States, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the board of governors of the <br /> Federal Reserve System, or any other federal or state authority and their affiliates; <br /> any bank or savings associations; whose Deposit Insurance Corporation of any <br /> successor to it and all affiliates or those banks and savings associations, any state or <br /> federally chartered credit union; and any industrial loan and thrift company or <br /> regulated lender subject to licensing and regulation by the Department of Commerce. <br /> Subd. 131 Person.
