Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br />DATE: November 16, 2015 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />Sue Iverson, Acting City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Amy Dietl, City Clerk <br /> <br />SUBJECT: 2016 Fee Schedule <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City Council annually establishes a fee schedule for administrative, building construction, <br />liquor licensing, copying of maps and ordinances, park and recreation facility usage, planning <br />and zoning, utilities, business licenses, false alarms, utility fees, and other miscellaneous permits <br />and penalties that are enforced by the City. <br /> <br />Below is a brief recap of the fee schedule changes in recent years. <br /> <br />Changes in 2011: <br /> Planning and Zoning <br />o Final Planned Unit Development – administrative fee increased <br />o Erosion control fee increased <br /> Utility use charges adjusted <br /> Residential surface water, commercial water, and commercial sanitary sewer and surface <br />water fees increased <br /> <br />Changes in 2012: <br /> Park and Recreation Fees <br />o Youth Athletic Association field rental fees added <br />o Adult/club intramural field rental added <br />o Non-resident and non-profit pavilion fees increased <br /> Planning and Zoning <br />o Final Plats <br />o Comprehensive Plan Amendments <br />o PUD Master Plans <br />o Site Plan Reviews <br /> Utility Rates (including SAC and WAC) <br />AGENDA ITEM – 1D <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br />
