, Should the project costs be divided equally for a!I residents using the roads? In line with this
thought, has the city considered managing trash haulers? We have at least three using our
road which causes excessive wear and tear. This could be reduced, and likely save resdents
in a large contract, and the city by tess road wear and #ear
- I would no#e that the overali road plan for the city is merely a"generic" pfan to show basic
information as a starting point far budgeting purposes. ! would hope that the cify council takes
, a!I input from ihe residents to understand the uniqueness of this and other roads in our great
town, so that flexibility and wisdom are considered for the finai implementation.
- The road edges have not failed, other than poor driveway connections in a few locations. I see that the
next phase includes the road ! live on, Amble Road.
m not sure if you all know some of the history. Charlie Amble and his family used to own a
,.onsiderable amount of (and in this area, and #he road is named after their fiamily. He and some of his
famify live on this road, though Charlie has passed away. Yeas ago, from my understanding in
Iking with him, he had sold much of his property with the unders#anding that it wouid not be fu!!y
eveloped like it has been. Tiie landscape in this particular area has a number of smaJl we#iand type
ponds, with a number of drain pipes that had to be installed to handle the surface runoff as a result of
e hard surfacing and structures added to the area. Despite all of the changes, this area has been
nctional for the past 30 or so years. (t is also my understanding that Charlie, though disappointed in
the developments that took place, was assured the original road would remain basicai(y as is.
ts a l.andscape Achitect (recently retired), I have seen the averal( existing functiona(ity of this oad
eciion wok. 1 am unable to attend the mee#ing on Thursday night for the resident input, but did want
add my thoughts. The foad and drainage system that exisis, works. With the present lack of curbs,

'
