t3rdinaace 2010-012 <br />� <br />c. A cantinuous system of publiely accessible trails shall occupy <br />the perimeter Qf the park and water feature_ <br />d. The park shall inelude a community gathering space such as a <br />plaza, courtyard, band shell, ar other similar amenity. <br />e. At least tweniy-five (25%} pereent of the perimeter of the <br />water feature shall have a maintained shoreline that compliments <br />or is connected to the cornmunity gathering space. A maintained <br />shoreline may include manicured vegetation and/or an improved <br />surface. The remaining shoreline may include a natural vegetative <br />buffer and(or other natural materials. <br />� <br />2. The plan shail include at least four (4) additionaJ parks of at least <br />two acres in size_ <br />3_ The parks shall be integrated into the development and connected <br />with trails and sidewalks. <br />4. Stormwater requirements, such as ponding and infiItration areas, <br />shall not count toward the park, recreatian, pathway, and open spaee <br />needs, uniess, at the sale discretion of the City, the area is incorporated <br />as a design feature of the park or open space and is available for public <br />use_ The develaper shall remain responsible for maintaining <br />stormwater facilities. <br />5. The parks shall provide amenities sucl� as, but not limited ta, <br />picnic shelters, play structures, benches, walking/bike paths, ball <br />fields, tennis courts, and basketball courts as approved by the City. <br />6. The plan shall dedicate land to complete a one hundred and fifty <br />{I50) foot wide Ramsey County South Regional Trai1 corridar alon�, <br />the eastern property line in any location where the traii corridor width <br />is less than one hundred and fifty { I 50) feet. <br />C. Dedication to the Public. The City reserves the right to require all or a <br />portion of the park, recreation, pathway, and open space system to be <br />dedicated to the public. The City may require all or a portian af the <br />system to be privately managed and maintained by a business <br />impravement district, homeowners association, or other similar <br />organizativn as approved by the City, pravided that the system remains <br />open to the general public. <br />D.
