City of Arden Hills Personnel Policy Effective February 29,2016 <br />Backing Up/Deleting Files <br />All files stored on the network will be backed up on a regular basis. Files that are stored <br />on a users hard drive will not be backed up. <br />Ownership <br />The City's computers and other similar devices and information produced and stored on <br />the foregoing are the sole property of the City. The City has the exclusive rights to <br />review, retain, maintain, modify or delete files, messages and documents stored and <br />created on a City computer or device. This includes personal messages and files that <br />reside on City equipment and storage media. Employees may not distribute or copy City <br />data without proper authorization. <br />93
