O & M ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2003 <br /> I. Streets, Sanitary Sewer, Water & Storm Water <br /> 1. Completed the `Punch list' for the 2002 PMP <br /> 2. 2003 PMP(Karth Lake East + Ingerson) <br /> 3. Improvements made to the PMP process; <br /> a. Neighborhood meetings(Power Point Technology) <br /> b. Neighborhood Mailing/Notification/Newsletter <br /> c. Assessment Procedures <br /> 4. Started the 2004 PMP(Edgewater) Process <br /> 5. Seal coated the Floral Park neighborhood <br /> 6. Painted City Parking Lots/Crosswalks/Curbs for the first time <br /> -in the City's history. <br /> 7. Repaired 253 ft of street curbing. <br /> 8. Used 76 tons of asphalt to repair streets. <br /> 9. .,Cracked sealed all City Streets & trails all in the same year for <br /> the first time in the City's history. (Past practice had been to <br /> seal coat just in the neighborhood that was to be seal coated. <br /> The trails have never been cracked sealed) <br /> 10.Established a new snow plow routes. <br /> I I.Started a Permanent File record retention system for all O & M <br /> projects. <br /> 12.Replacement of Lift Station #2 <br /> 13.Replacement of Lift Station #5 <br /> 14.Televised and lined the sanitary sewer lines in the Glenpaul <br /> neighborhood. <br /> 15. Purchased a TV/video unit for sanitary sewer & storm water <br /> system. City Staff TV'd two neighborhoods. <br /> 16.Staff saved the City $100,000 of allocated CIP funding <br /> thorough the use of the TV/video unit. <br /> 17.Staff repaired seven sanitary sewer breaks. <br /> 18.Staff cleaned and jetted three neighborhoods. <br /> 19.Created a map grid system for each Lift Station and then <br /> numbered each manhole that leads into that particular Lift <br /> Station to provide a systematic approach to maintenance and <br /> repair. <br /> 20.Established a sanitary sewer CIP. <br />
