6. Select Date for Park Tour. <br />The Committee decided this might fit into the September schedule. <br />6a. Membership. <br />The Committee discussed the need for new members; they will contact interested residents and <br />encourage visitors to meetings. Dorothy McClung is willing to continue for another year, and the <br />other members in attendance indicated the same. <br />Recreation Program Update. <br />Tom reported that only one Spring program was left; softball registration numbers are up; summer <br />staff has been hired. Michelle Olson begins employment on May 27. <br />Next Meeting (June 22, 1999) Agenda. <br />Bethel Park; Budget (may move to July); Arden Manor; Michelle Olson introduction; Day in the <br />Park recap. <br />8a. Arden Oaks Play Structure. <br />Brian has contacted the vendor and been assured that their bid is still good. The recommendation <br />will go to Council on June 14. <br />9.
