8. The Consultant will assist the Council with the final selection decision <br /> and assist in the negotiation of an employment agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />Fee Structure: <br /> <br />Costs for the eight steps outlined above are set at $14,000.00. <br />Costs for individual, detailed background investigations will be billed separately at <br /> $1,500.00 per candidate. (If desired) <br />Costs for Leadership/Management Style Profile will be billed separately at $1400.00 <br /> per candidate. (If desired) <br />All expenses, with the exception of advertising, are included in the base fee <br /> structure. <br /> <br />Option II Abbreviated <br />The City may wish to choose a more limited role for the consultant whereby City <br />Staff perform a number of the organizational and logistical elements of the search <br />. <br />1. The consultant will act in an oversight capacity and guide the staff in the <br />solicitation of candidates, initial vetting and resume’ verification. <br /> <br />2. Scheduling and communications with applicants will be handled by staff. <br /> <br />3. The Consultant will provide the Council a list of recommended semi-finalists <br />and assist the Council in selecting a finalist group. The Consultant will also <br />coordinate any additional testing or background assessment the Council <br />deems appropriate. <br /> <br />4. The Consultant will design and coordinate the final interview process and <br />assist in the selection of the successful candidate. <br /> <br />5. The consultant will assist in the negotiation of an employment agreement. <br /> <br />1. Fees <br /> <br /> The fee for this abbreviated option is $9,000 with the same specifics listed <br /> above. <br /> <br /> <br />Estimated Time Frame: <br /> <br /> June, 2016, Council Action, commence recruitment <br /> <br />July / August, 2016, Initial vetting of candidates and selection of <br /> semi-finalists <br />
