ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – JUNE 13, 2016 3 <br /> <br />Acting Public Works Director Anderson stated traffic has shifted to the east at County Road F <br />and Lexington Avenue. Crews would continue to pour concrete for the west side of this roadway. <br /> <br />Acting Public Works Director Anderson noted MnDOT would be holding a meeting regarding <br />noise wall construction on I-35W and the MnPASS project. The meetings will be held <br />Wednesday, June 15 and Wednesday, June 22, 2016. Further information regarding these <br />meetings was posted on the City’s website. <br /> <br />Acting Public Works Director Anderson indicated the City’s Public Works department has <br />been working on paving Thom Drive and repairing the catch basin concrete on Lake Valentine <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden stated semis were being ticketed at the intersection of Lexington <br />Avenue and Red Fox Road for blocking the intersection. She requested staff speak with Joe Lux <br />at the County because this intersection has been problematic. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung indicated County Road F was closed and would be closed longer than <br />was previously anticipated. He questioned when this roadway would be reopened. <br /> <br />Acting Public Works Director Anderson stated he would do some checking on this and would <br />report back to the City Council. He estimated the roadway would be closed through the end of <br />June. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. April 25, 2016, Regular City Council <br />B. May 16, 2016, City Council Work Session <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to approve the April 25, 2016, Regular City Council meeting minutes; <br />and May 16, 2016, City Council Work Session meeting minutes as presented. <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />5. Motion to Approve Appointing Julie Hanson as City Clerk <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0).
