<br />• Demonstrated ability to perform the comprehensive plan update in a timely and <br />cost effective manner <br /> <br />• Demonstrated familiarity with relevant development, social, and economic issues <br />impacting communities such as Arden Hills <br /> <br />• Project costs <br /> <br />• Ability to work as a team with the City Council, Commissions, Committees, staff, <br />and other City consultants <br /> <br />• Ability to interact positively and effectively with the general public <br /> <br />• Innovation and creativity <br /> <br />Contract Terms and Conditions <br /> <br />A. Upon selection of a consultant firm(s), an Agreement or Contract of Services shall be <br />entered into by the City and the consultant(s). It is expected that the contract will provide <br />for compensation for actual work completed on a not to exceed basis with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />• Deletion of specific components, such as individual project meetings, will be at <br />the discretion of the City. Payment or reimbursement shall be made based on <br />actual hours worked on various tasks required for the project. <br /> <br />• The City shall retain ownership of all documents, plans, maps, reports, and data <br />prepared under this proposal. The consultant shall provide the City with hard copy <br />and digital documents throughout the project and a fully electronic file upon <br />completion of the project. <br /> <br />B. The City reserves the right to negotiate the final terms and conditions of the contract to be <br />executed. Should the City and a consultant be unable to mutually agree upon the entire <br />contract, the City reserves the right to discontinue negotiations, select another consultant, <br />or reject all of the proposals. Upon completion of negotiations agreeable to the City and <br />consultant (s), a contract shall be executed. <br /> <br /> <br />
