The Zoning Code states that roof-mounted mechanical equipment shall be <br />excepted from the height limitations if the enclosures do not extend more than 12 feet above <br />the roof upon which they are located. The proposed mechanical equipment installation on <br />the new office building would be 14-feet 8-inches above the roof line. Tree Preservation – Meets Requirements <br /> <br />The applicant submitted a Tree Survey and Tree Replacement Plan as part of their tree <br />preservation and mitigation requirements (Attachment B page L04-07D). The following <br />table outlines these numbers and the additional requirements of the tree preservation <br />ordinance pertaining to tree removal and tree mitigation regulations. <br /> <br />Based on the proposed tree removal for both phases of the project, the City’s Tree <br />Preservation Ordinance requires 2,709 caliper inches of tree plantings.
