Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br />DATE: December 19, 2016 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: Sue Iverson, Interim City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Cancellation of the December 27, 2016, Regular City Council Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In prior years, the City Council has cancelled the second regular meeting in December if there <br />are no items requiring timely action by the Council. At this time, all necessary items for <br />discussion and Council action were placed on the agenda for the December 12, 2016, meeting as <br />well as the December 19, 2016 special regular meeting. <br /> <br />This year, the last Monday in December falls on December 26, 2016, which is a holiday, and so <br />the meeting would then take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested <br /> <br />Motion to approve the cancellation of the December 27, 2016, regular City Council meeting. <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEM – 1B <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
