ARDEN HILLS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION – DECEMBER 5, 2016 6 <br /> <br />Mr. Lux reported the depth of the underground parking would depend on the level of the water <br />table. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant asked if the proposed parking requirements would work for the developer. <br /> <br />Mr. Lux stated that he supported the proposed parking requirements. He explained his only area <br />of concern with regard to parking was with the size of the theater and how many stalls they would <br />require. He stated he was planning for 2,200 underground parking stalls for the 800 proposed <br />apartment units, which was over and above the City’s requirements. <br /> <br />Mayor Grant did not want to see the development under parked. <br /> <br />Mr. Lux understood the development would suffer if under parked. <br /> <br />Interim City Planner Zweber stated staff would revise the TRC as discussed this evening and <br />would have these revisions available for the Planning Commission on Wednesday night. <br /> <br /> <br />2.
