ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – JANUARY 9, 2017 3 J. Motion to Approve Ramsey Conservation District Shared Service Agreement K. Motion to Approve Northeast Youth and Family Services 2017 Contract L. Motion to Approve Lake Johana Fire Department Capital Expenditures MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). 7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS A. Motion to Adopt Resolution 2017-002 – Commission and Committee Appointments Mayor Grant requested the FPAC and EDC appointments be switched. Councilmember McClung clarified that this appointment was addressed under Item 6B of the Consent Agenda. Mayor Grant apologized for the confusion and requested the Council approve Item 7A. MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2017-002 – Commission and Committee Appointments. The motion carried (4-0). MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Scott seconded a motion to Reconsider Item 6B on the Consent Agenda as Item 7B. The motion carried (4-0). B. Motion to Adopt Resolution 2017-001 – Relating to the 2017 Organization of the City of Arden Hills Mayor Grant requested the FPAC and EDC appointments be switched. He explained that Councilmember Holden was interested in serving on FPAC and not the EDC. Councilmember McClung stated he would serve as the EDC representative, but noted he may have trouble attending their meetings on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Mayor Grant indicated he would be able to serve as an alternate. MOTION: Mayor Grant moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2017-001 – Relating to the 2017 Organization of the City of Arden Hills as amended.
