Project Approach to Scope of Work / 6 <br />A Proposal to Provide a 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update for the City of Arden Hills <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />Chapters <br />The WSB team understands that different levels <br />of staff involvement are anticipated depending on <br />the chapter of the Plan and the level of revision <br />needed. At the outset of the process, WSB will <br />meet with City staff to determine the level of <br />revision needed. All chapters, whether completed <br />by WSB, City Staff, or other consultants, will be <br />integrated into a cohesive whole. <br />Introduction <br />This chapter will be updated to present an overview of what is included in this 2040 Comprehensive <br />Plan Update and to reflect changes in planning history since the last update was completed. <br />Community Profile <br />WSB planners will work with City Staff to update the Community Profile chapter to reflect physical <br />development and demographic changes since the last Comprehensive Plan was completed. Current <br />demographics, housing and economic data will be provided, along with population projections, to <br />help inform readers about other chapters of the Plan. <br />City Vision <br />The WSB team understands that significant work has been done on developing the City Vision and <br />its ten (10) companion Goals for Arden Hills. The Vision and Goals will be used to make discussions <br />within the other chapters of the Comprehensive Plan. <br />Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant (TCAAP) Property <br />The City has updated the TCAAP chapter of the Comprehensive Plan, along with the Regulating <br />Plan and the TCAAP Redevelopment Code (TRC), in December 2016. Because it was recently <br />updated, WSB will not spend significant resources on the TCAAP chapter. <br />TCAAP
