The DNR has provided a letter of <br />approval of the Ordinance, provided that the City follows through on the changes suggested by <br />the DNR (Attachment E). <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve Ordinance No. 2016-013: An Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter 7, Section 700.06 of the City Code to adopt slow-no wake speed restrictions <br />on Lake Johanna during specified high water periods, and approve publishing a summary of the <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />The City Attorney has reviewed the changes recommended by the DNR and does not have any <br />concerns about the revised Ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />Notice <br /> <br />A public hearing notice was prepared by the City and mailed to property owners within 1,000 <br />feet of Lake Johanna. The City Council held the required public hearing for the Ordinance <br />amendment at their meeting on December 12, 2016. An additional public hearing is not required <br />for this case. <br /> <br /> <br />Public Comments <br /> <br />Staff has not received any public comments regarding the Ordinance amendment. <br /> <br /> <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills staff has initiated this Ordinance request and therefore there is no <br />deadline for action. <br /> <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />A.
