Off Street Parking Spaces – Meets Requirement <br /> <br />The number of parking stalls required by the City Code is determined based on the type of <br />land use proposed for a site. In this case, Land O’Lakes is classified as an office use and is <br />required to provide one (1) parking space for each 250 square feet of gross floor area. <br /> <br />With the proposed construction of the new 155,000 square foot four (4) story office building <br />in Phase 2, a total of 1,676 parking spaces are required by the Code for the entire site. In this <br />case, the applicant is proposing that an additional 519 parking spaces be constructed on the <br />north side of the campus for a total of 1,677 parking spaces within the site. With the <br />approval of Phase 1 by the City Council on June 27, 2016, the applicant was permitted to <br />expand the south parking lot to 267 parking spaces. In Phase 2 the applicant is also <br />requesting 461 proof-of-parking spaces be provided on the west side of the site for future <br />expansion (Attachment B page L04-10).
