Corner building street facades along intersections of Pedestrian Priority Frontages and <br />Pedestrian-Friendly Frontages shall be built to the BTZ for a minimum of twenty feet <br />(20’) from the intersection along each street or the width of the corner lot, whichever is <br />less regardless of the building frontage percentage required along that street. This <br />requirement shall not prohibit incorporation of curved, chamfered building corners or <br />recessed entries or civic/open spaces at such intersections. In addition, this standard shall <br />apply regardless of the frontage requirement along the intersecting street even if it is a <br />General Street. <br /> Illustration showing minimum frontage requirements at street intersections <br /> <br />ii. Corner Building Height Allowance: Corner buildings may exceed the maximum building <br />height by 25% along no more than 20% of the building’s frontage along each <br />corresponding street façade. The purpose of the allowance is to encourage inclusion of <br />architectural features and no mechanical equipment shall be located on top of a roof <br />area that takes advantage of this allowance. Corner Building Height Allowances are not <br />permitted in the Neighborhood Zone.
