<br />City of Arden Hills <br />Planning Commission Meeting for February 8, 2017 <br />P:\Planning\Department Records\Quarterly & Year End Reports\2016 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br />Land O’Lakes <br />The City Council approved a Master PUD for the Land O’Lakes corporate headquarters <br />consolidation plan on July 11, 2016. The approved PUD provided a general plan for the two <br />phased development. The City Council subsequently approved Final PUD plans for both of these <br />phases. The approved plans will allow Land O’Lakes to consolidate their Arden Hills and <br />Shoreview locations into one campus at their existing Arden Hills property. The plans include <br />the construction of a four-story, approximately 155,000 gross square foot office building and the <br />expansion of surface parking lots on the campus <br /> <br />Bremer Bank Redevelopment <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval of proposed redevelopment plans for the <br />Bremer Bank property at 4061 Lexington Avenue on November 8, 2016. The proposal includes <br />the demolition of the existing bank building and construction of a new, 2,750 square foot bank <br />facility, a 7,500 square foot multi-tenant commercial building, and an 11,500 square foot daycare <br />facility. The City Council has not reviewed this planning case and it is still pending. <br /> <br /> <br />Zoning or City Code Amendments <br /> <br />The City approved the following amendments to the City Code over the last year: <br /> <br />1. Amendment to the Zoning Code to allow the City to opt-out of the requirements of <br />Minnesota Statute regarding temporary family health care accessory dwellings. <br />2. Amendment to the City Code to adopt slow-no wake speed restrictions on Lake Johanna <br />during specified high water periods. <br />3. Amendment to the Section 1380 of the Zoning Code (TCAAP Redevelopment Code) to <br />facilitate the redevelopment of the 427-acre TCAAP property by the Master <br />Development Team. <br />4. Amendment to the Zoning Code to remove references to the previous classification of the <br />427-acre TCAAP property as Mixed Residential District and Mixed Business District. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
