Joint Development Authority <br />Monday, July 7, 2014 <br />Arden Hills City Council Chambers <br />Minutes <br />5:30 pm <br />Present: <br />Joint Development Authority: Chair David Sand, Commissioner Brenda Holden, Commissioner <br />David Grant, Commissioner Rafael Ortega <br />Absent: Commissioner Blake Huffman <br />Also present: Patrick Klaers, Jill Hutmacher, (Arden Hills); Heather Worthington, (Ramsey <br />County) <br />Roll call taken. <br />Approval of agenda. <br />Motion by Commissioner Holden seconded by Commissioner Ortega to approve the agenda as <br />presented. Motion carried. <br />Public Inquiries/Informational <br />Lyle Salmela, recommended the JDA consider having someone LEAD certified on the Energy <br />Task Force. This would provide the JDA with a broad background of knowledge on the topic. <br />Administrative Director Worthington explained that the consultants working with the County <br />and City have that qualification. <br />Consent Agenda <br />None <br />Old Business <br />Infrastructure Update <br />Public Works Director Maurer updated the Authority on the selected infrastructure design team <br />and the work scheduled for the project. He reported that a public open house will be held late <br />this fall. <br />Chair Sand questioned how often the JDA would be updated on the progress of the <br />infrastructure study. <br />
