Motion carried. <br /> <br />Public Inquiries/Informational <br />None <br /> <br />Consent Agenda <br />None <br /> <br />Old Business <br />None <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br />None <br /> <br />New Business <br />The Joint Development Authority heard two presentations on commercial development strategies for <br />the TCAAP site from Louis Jambois, St. Paul Port Authority (SPPA), and from Matt Kramer and Jonathan <br />Weinhagen, St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce (SPACC). <br /> <br />Mr. Jambois reported on SPPA’s work to bring industrial development and job growth to St. Paul often <br />through the redevelopment of brownfield sites. Recent studies have shown that industrial <br />development uses $0.60 to $0.70 in services for every dollar of tax revenue generated. This compares <br />to $1.08 to $1.16 in services required for every dollar of tax revenue for residential property.
