38 <br /> <br /> <br />In comparison to the chart above, the chart below shows the total number of employees hired to <br />work for the City, that compose of the FTE’s listed above. Note in 2016 an extra employee was <br />added to PW Seasonal for rain garden maintenance . <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Employee Benefits <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills has one employee association which represents the Public Works union <br />employees. All other employees of the City are unrepresented. The current contract expires <br />December 31, 2017, and a contingency has been set up in the General Fu nd and Utility Funds. <br />The assumed salary and benefit increases for budgeting purposes are as follows: <br /> <br />Salary increases throughout the budget include step increases for employees and a 2.50% COLA <br />for union employees and a 2.50% COLA for non-union employees.
