ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—JUNE 26, 2017 7 <br /> the letter of credit is to ensure that landscaping is completed in the event that the <br /> Developer defaults on this Agreement. The surety shall be valid for two full years from <br /> the date of installation. <br /> 8. If noise from Building 9 exceeds MPCA noise regulations for residential areas at the <br /> property line, the applicant shall reduce noise levels in order to be in compliance with <br /> MPCA regulations. If the City receives complaints regarding noise levels, the applicant <br /> shall be responsible for providing decibel measurements from the property line and <br /> reducing noise levels to be in compliance with MPCA regulations. <br /> Councilmember Holden questioned how many new jobs would be added. <br /> Senior Planner Bachler deferred this question to the applicant. <br /> Joseph Ford, RSP Architects, reported the same base staffing would be used but understood they <br /> would be relocated to the expansion space. <br /> Mayor Grant asked if the MPCA noise standards would be met for the building expansion. <br /> Mr. Ford explained all noise standards would be met. <br /> Councilmember McClung stated he attended the June Planning Commission meeting and <br /> explained no concerns were voiced by the neighbors. <br /> Mayor Grant questioned who came up with the building design. <br /> Mr. Ford stated he was responsible for the building design. He described how the building <br /> expansion would blend into the existing building architecture. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Mayor Grant seconded a motion to <br /> approve Planning Case 17-013 for a Planned Unit Development Amendment <br /> at 4100 Hamline Avenue North, based on the findings of fact and the <br /> submitted plans as amended by the eight (8) conditions in the June 26, 2017, <br /> Report to the City Council. The motion carried (5-0). <br /> 10. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 11. COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> Councilmember Scott invited the public to attend the Hot Dog with a Deputy event on Tuesday, <br /> July 1 I at Tony Schmidt Regional Park from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br /> Mayor Grant encouraged the Councilmembers to consider doing a ride along with a Ramsey <br /> County Deputy in order to learn more about the Sheriff's Department and the great work they <br /> were doing on behalf of the community. <br />
