r` <br />-ii DI�EN HILLS <br />Approved: August 14, 2017 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JULY 24, 2017 <br />7:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor David Grant called to order the regular City <br />Council meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />Present: Mayor David Grant, Councilmembers Fran Holmes, Dave McClung and <br />Steve Scott <br />Absent: Councilmember Brenda Holden (excused) <br />Also present: City Administrator Bill Joynes; Public Works Director/City Engineer Sue <br />Polka; Senior Planner Matthew Bachler; Interim Director of Finance and Administrative <br />Services Dave Perrault; and City Clerk Julie Hanson <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Councilmember Scott requested Item 6E be pulled from the Consent Agenda for discussion as <br />Item 7A. <br />Mayor Grant explained if this item was pulled from the Consent Agenda no public comment <br />could be made during the Public Inquiries portion of the meeting. <br />Councilmember Scott withdrew his request. <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the meetinz agenda as presented. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRIESANFORMATIONAL <br />Julie Gronquist, 1932 County Road E W, stated she has been a business owner in Arden Hills for <br />the past 17 years and expressed concern with adding SSO to the compost site. She feared this <br />would increase the odor already coming from the site and would draw animals to the area. She <br />
