ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL —JULY 24, 2017 3 <br />City Administrator Joynes provided an update on TCAAP stating there was a July 31 deadline <br />for Ramsey County and Alatus to come to an agreement for the purchase and transfer of property. <br />He stated staff was waiting to hear more in the coming week. He explained he would be meeting <br />with architects Hammel, Green and Abrahamson to start work evaluating City Hall and Public <br />Works activities. <br />B. County Road I/Old Highway 8 and Old Snelling Bridge Update <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka reported construction continues at Old Highway 8. <br />She indicated sanitary sewer and water mains are being installed. <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka stated the City would be receiving funding for the <br />Old Snelling Bridge. She explained it would be advantageous for the City to complete the <br />roadway and bridge in 2019. <br />C. Night to Unite Update <br />City Clerk Hanson stated the 2017 Night to Unite will be held Tuesday, August 1 from 5:00 to <br />9:00 p.m. Anyone interested in hosting an event was encouraged to register their party with the <br />Ramsey County Sheriff's Office by Friday, July 14, 2017. However, interested parties may still <br />register their party but are not guaranteed a visit by local representatives, though they will do their <br />best to accommodate all. <br />City Clerk Hanson explained Night to Unite information can be found on the Ramsey County <br />Sheriff's Office website or by calling the Crime Prevention Unit at 651-266-7339. There is also a <br />link to this information on the City's website. As of Wednesday, July 19, twenty-three (23) hosts <br />had registered their event. A list of those participating in Night to Unite would be provided to the <br />City Council when it became available. The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office asked the Mayor <br />and City Councilmembers to sign a Night to Unite 2017 Proclamation. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. July 10, 2017 Regular City Council <br />Councilmember Holmes requested a change to the July 10, 2017, City Council minutes on Page <br />2, noting there was an error regarding the Jason Isaacson discussion stating Councilmember <br />Holden made that comment. <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the June 26, 2017, Special City Council Work Session <br />meeting minutes, June 26, 2017, Regular City Council meeting minutes; and <br />July 10, 2017, Regular City Council meeting minutes as amended.
