In 2005 wages <br />included a one-time roll-in of $0.20/hour in recognition of the requirement for a <br />Class D Systems Operator's License, and a Class SD Wastewater Systems <br />Operator's License or a Class SC Wastewater Systems Operator's License. <br />B. New Employees <br />B-1 A newly-hired employee shall be paid a starting base pay rate as determined by <br />the EMPLOYER. This starting base pay rate must be equal to at least seventy <br />percent (70%) of the top base pay rate for the Public Works Maintenance Worker <br />Classification. <br />B-2 The base pay rate of a newly-hired employee who has successfully completed <br />the probationary period shall be increased at the discretion of the EMPLOYER to <br />at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the top base pay rate for the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker Classification. <br />B-3 After the first year of employment, the employee's base pay rate shall be <br />increased at the discretion of the EMPLOYER to a base pay rate which is equal <br />to at least eighty percent (80%) of the top base pay rate for the Public Works <br />Maintenance Worker Classification.
