From:Dixon
To:Matthew Bachler
Subject:Arden Hills Planning Commission Public a Meeting Notice - Carrie Martinson
Date:Friday, November 24, 2017 2:40:22 PM
Dear Mr Bachler,
Thank you for asking our opinion about the Site Plan Review for the existing storage shed at 1504 Edgewater
Avenue.
Because the Zoning Code for Arden Hills "does not permit detached accessory structures between the dwelling and
street", I am not sure why this is even a question. I believe that the purpose for Zoning Codes is to set building Rules
that are to be followed within the City.
Anyway, the main reason as to why I think this shed should be immediately removed is that it sets a bad precedent
for the neighborhood. If this structure is allowed to stay, what is to keep others from putting up a front yard storage
shed, a garage, a lean to, an out door toilet, a basketball hoop next to a street, etc?
Again, thank you for the interest that you have in our opinion.
Very sincerely yours,
Dixon and Janis Jordan
1505 Edgewater Avenue,
651-633-1134
