<br />City of Arden Hills <br />City Council Meeting for March12, 2018 <br />P:\Planning\Planning Cases\2017\PC 17-029 - 3685 New Brighton Road Preliminary and Final Plat and Easement <br />Vacation\Memos_Reports_17-029 <br />Page 13 of 13 <br />concerns about the owner of Lot 1 being responsible for the maintenance of the <br />stormwater basins and what would happen if the lot was never sold. <br />• The resident at 3731 New Brighton Road expressed concerns about the loss of trees and <br />the character of the neighborhood changing. <br />• The resident at 1978 Thom Drive questioned who would be responsible for maintaining <br />the stormwater basins. <br />• The resident at 3766 Brighton Way North stated they were concerned about the amount <br />of traffic on New Brighton Road and recommended a walking path be constructed to help <br />improve safety. <br /> <br /> <br />Deadline for Agency Actions <br /> <br />The City of Arden Hills received the completed application for this request on December 4, <br />2017. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City was required to act on this request by <br />February 2, 2018 (60 days), unless the City provided the petitioner with written reasons for an <br />additional 60 day review period. <br /> <br />The applicant was notified on January 11, 2018 of the City’s request for an additional 60-day <br />review period. Pursuant to Minnesota State Statute, the City must now act on this request by <br />April 3, 2018.
