Based on the feedback provided by the City Council, WSB and staff made revisions to the draft plan and reviewed the updated version with the Economic Development Commission and Planning Commission on March 7, 2018. WSB will be in attendance at the meeting on March 19, 2018 to review the edits made to the plan since the last City Council meeting. Attachment A includes an updated clean version of the Comprehensive Plan. The red-lined edits are provided in Attachment B. Staff is anticipating that the public hearing for the 2040 Comprehensive Plan will be held at the Planning Commission meeting on April 4, 2018. The City Council would be asked to review the final draft of the plan on April 23, 2018 and approve its release to affected jurisdictions for review. The City will need to provide affected jurisdictions six months to review the plan, after which time the City Council will be asked to formally adopt the Comprehensive Plan and approve submittal to the Metropolitan Council. The deadline for submittal is December 31, 2018.
