Municipal Experience & References / 10 <br />Land Use Web Application: Stearns County, MN <br />Chad Martini, Division Director of Land Management, (320) 654-4690 <br />Stearns County chose WSB to convert and enhance the County’s existing Land Use web application using <br />the DataLink® mapping platform. DataLink® provides the County with an easy to use, secure, and lightweight <br />application for internal and external use. The application is based on JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 so it runs on <br />any modern web browser which is critical for supporting the variety of internal and external users. <br />Using the DataLink® mapping platform, the County was able to: <br /> ·Provide data access to the public <br /> ·Provide secure access via username/password for internal staff <br /> ·Replace the existing application with an application that is easier to use <br /> ·Provide support on modern browsers/mobile devices <br /> ·Support new features such as historic property comparisons <br /> ·Provide links to internal document imaging systems <br /> ·Provide a tabular view of property history <br />Stearns County also has the ability to manage secure internal access using an intuitive role based security <br />system developed by WSB. <br />A Proposal to Provide GIS Services to the City of Arden Hills
