<br /> <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> CONSENT ITEM – 6I <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: April 9, 2018 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Matthew Bachler, City Planner <br /> <br />SUBJECT: WSB & Associates Proposal to Provide GIS Services <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br /> $9,849.50(Annual) $24,342 (Year 1) Technology Fund <br /> $12,480 (Year 2) <br /> $12,688 (Year 3) <br /> <br />Council Should Consider the Following <br /> <br />Motion to approve the GIS Services Proposal from WSB & Associates for the City of Arden <br />Hills. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the City Council Work Session on March 19, 2018, WSB & Associates presented a proposal <br />for GIS support services for the City. The proposed services would include the following tasks: <br />• Review and assessment of the City’s existing GIS system <br />• Data merge and implementation of DataLink web-based platform <br />• Staff training sessions <br />• Ongoing annual services, including staff augmentation and system maintenance <br /> <br />After reviewing the proposed services, the City Council directed staff to bring a final services <br />proposal from WSB forward for approval at a regular City Council meeting. WSB has provided <br />an updated proposal with a revised implementation schedule (Attachment A). The services <br />proposal is for a three year period, after which time the City could evaluate the services. <br /> <br />The City has an existing Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with WSB that was approved <br />on February 12, 2018. The GIS services proposal would fall under the existing PSA and a <br />separate contract is not required. <br /> <br />
