DATE: June 11, 2018 <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br /> <br />FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Emergency Manager Contract with Lake Johanna Fire Department <br /> <br />Budgeted Amount: Actual Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A N/A N/A <br /> <br />Council Should Consider <br /> <br />The Council should consider approving the contract for Emergency Manager Duties with the <br />Lake Johanna Fire Department. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />In January of 2018, the City Council designated the Lake Johanna Fire Department as the City’s <br />Emergency Manager, with Matt Sather, deputy chief, as the primary person responsible for these <br />duties. Since January, Matt Sather has been acting in this capacity for the City, but the City <br />Administrator has requested a formalized agreement between the City and the Fire Department <br />to memorialize the agreement.
