This position is non-supervisory and hourly. <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />City Staff and the Personnel Committee have discussed and are supportive of moving forward <br />with a Senior Engineering Technician position. <br /> <br />Anticipated process: <br />-Council approves authorization to post <br />-Staff advertises job opening <br />-Staff reviews applications, interviews candidates, and selects a finalist <br />-Staff will add their recommendation to the consent calendar of a future meeting <br /> <br />This position will not be brought forward to the Personnel Committee or City Council for future <br />consideration, except for final approval at a City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> N/A <br />CONSENT ITEM – 7D <br /> <br /> MEMORANDUM <br />
