ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—MAY 29, 2018 18 <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated she had a nice time at the Public Works recognition luncheon <br /> and thanked the Public Works crew for all of their hard work. <br /> Councilmember Holden thanked Roberta Thompson for the wonderful work she provided the <br /> City on the Planning Commission and PTRC over the years and wished her well. <br /> Councilmember Holden questioned if the Planning Commission minutes needed to state the <br /> findings and conditions for approval. She indicated this was a duplication given the fact this <br /> information was available within the Staff Report. <br /> Mayor Grant commented the Council could discuss this matter at a future worksession meeting. <br /> Mayor Grant stated he has been on the City Council since 2000 and has served with Roberta <br /> Thompson through a variety of committees. He explained he appreciated Ms. Thompson's <br /> professionalism, willingness to serve and dedication to the City. <br /> Mayor Grant discussed the event that occurred at Tony Schmidt Park and commented on an <br /> exciting opportunity (Pulse Point)that would be coming to the City. <br /> Mayor Grant commented on the trees that had been lost along County Road 96 and requested <br /> the City require more from the contractors to ensure trees are properly maintained. <br /> Mayor Grant explained Hot Dog with a Deputy would be held on Wednesday, May 30 from <br /> 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the City Council. <br /> Mayor Grant noted he received an invitation to the 147t" Financial Management Support <br /> Detachment Deployment Ceremony on Saturday, June 16. He encouraged the entire City <br /> Council to attend this event. <br /> ADJOURN <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br /> motion to adiourn.
