APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />A. June 11, 2018, Regular City Council <br />B. June 18, 2018, City Council Work Session <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden reported she had a minor correction to the June 11 minutes and <br />explained she had passed along this information to the City Clerk. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember McClung seconded a <br />motion to approve the June 11, 2018, Regular City Council meeting minutes <br />as amended; and June 18, 2018, City Council Work Session meeting minutes. <br />The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item - Claims and Payroll <br />B. Motion to Approve Proposal for Installation of New Power Service – North Tower <br />– Peoples Electric Company <br />C. Motion to Authorize Proposal for Roadway and Trail Layout and Bridge Bidding <br />and Construction Phase Services – Old Snelling Avenue Trail and Bridge – <br />Kimley-Horn <br />D. Motion to Approve Proposal for Development of Final Construction Documents – <br />Cummings park Playground Redevelopment – WSB & Associates <br />E. Motion to Terminate WSB Engineering Services Contract Effective August 31, <br />2018 <br />F. Motion to Reaffirm the City’s Commitment to the Joint Powers Agreement <br />(TCAAP) with Ramsey County <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Terminate WSB Engineering Services Contract Effective August <br />31, 2018 <br /> <br />City Administrator Perrault explained the City Council entered into an agreement with WSB to <br />provide engineering services support for approximately twenty hours per week at the beginning of <br />the year. At the last Council meeting, Council authorized staff to post for a Senior Engineering <br />Technician position, which would eliminate the need for the WSB services. Staff has anticipated <br />the WSB contract will no longer be need on August 31, 2018. Please note, Staff may need to <br />adjust this date slightly as the Senior Engineering Technician moves through the hiring process.
