We have accepted your application and payment for a conditional use <br />permit as required for an auto sales facility within the downtown mixed use district. The Aitkin <br />Ordinance requires additional information to the application be submitted so that the Planning <br />Commission and City Council can fully consider the site and proposed use. <br /> <br />Lot and Density requirements within the Downtown Mixed Use district are as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />Given that the permanent structure on the site will remain, and no new permanent structures are being <br />proposed, it is assumed that the site will be able to comply with the lot and density requirements as shown <br />in the table above. The City of Aitkin is willing to waive the requirement of a certified survey as part of <br />the CUP application but would like a site ‘sketch plan’ showing the proposed site layout. We would also <br />appreciate supplemental information that addresses conditions and considerations as laid out in Aitkin <br />Ordinance Section 11.6 Conditional Use Permits. The following additional information is requested to <br />supplement the application. <br /> <br />Sketch Plan <br /> Please utilize the County GIS website (http://gisweb.co.aitkin.mn.us/link/jsfe/index.aspx) or other <br />resource to draw the proposed site layout that includes location and layout of: <br />o Parking and inventory location of for sale cars. Please show where on-site customer <br />parking will be provided (if any), and where the for sale cars will be laid out on the lot. <br />o Sign location(s). Please show where any signage will be located on the site and the size <br />and type of signage that will be displayed.
