DATE:August 27, 2018 <br />TO:Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />FROM:Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />SUBJECT:Authorization to Appoint Senior Engineering Technician <br />Budgeted Amount: Estimated Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A $12,000 Salary Allocation <br />Council Should Consider <br />The Council should consider appointing David Swearingen to the position of Senior Engineering <br />Technician at Grade Twelve, Step Seven of the compensation scale and all associated benefits. <br />Background <br />The City Council authorized City Staff to post for a Senior Engineering Technician at the June <br />25, 2018 City Council meeting. After the closing of the posting period, the City had received <br />three candidates, all of which were interviewed.
