<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />JUNE 7, 2017 8:00 AM <br />CITY HALL -- 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />SUMMARY OF MEETING – NO QUORUM <br /> <br />Present: Commissioners Evan Cordes, Rob Williams, Brendan O’Meara, and Sheila Bennett <br />Kilander <br /> <br />Also Present: Council Liaison Dave McClung, Senior Planner Matthew Bachler, WSB Senior <br />Planner Eric Zweber, WSB Economic Development Coordinator Jim Gromberg, <br />and Deputy Clerk Jolene Trauba <br /> <br />Meeting opened at 8:04 a.m. <br /> <br />Senior Planner Matthew Bachler stated that there was an absence of a quorum of EDC <br />Commissioners. He noted that no motions or voting would occur until a quorum was recognized. <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />No quorum present <br /> <br /> <br />2. APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Deputy Clerk Jolene Trauba administered the oath of office to Commissioner Sheila Bennett <br />Kilander. <br /> <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />No quorum present <br /> <br /> <br />4. UNFINISHED AND NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Higher Education Study <br /> <br />Senior Planner Matthew Bachler noted that the City is working with WSB to complete a <br />planning and economic development study regarding higher education uses. The EDC is being <br />asked to review components of that study. At this meeting WSB will review land and building <br />space available in the commercial and industrial districts of the City.
