DATE: January 14, 2019 <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers <br />FROM: Dave Perrault, City Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Agreement For Building Inspection Services with North Star Inspections <br />Budgeted Amount: Estimated Amount: Funding Source: <br />N/A N/A N/A <br />Council Should Consider <br />Council should consider entering into a contract with North Star Inspections for Building <br />Inspection Services for State projects within the City. <br />Background <br />The City has a delegation agreement with the State of Minnesota to inspect State projects, with <br />the transition of the City’s Building Official this agreement will ensure the City is able to provide <br />inspection services for State projects. North Star Inspections has been previously assisted the <br />City as needed, and also provides other surrounding cities with Building Official services.
