Table: Motion to table Resolution 2019-005 Authorizing the Submittal of the Comprehensive <br />Plan Update to the Metropolitan Council for the following reasons… <br /> <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Minnesota state law requires that all communities within the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area <br />update their Comprehensive Plans every ten years. The statutory deadline for submittal is December <br />31, 2018; however, the City requested some additional time for review, and notified its <br />Metropolitan Council Sector Representative that we anticipated the plan would be submitted in <br />January, 2019. There is no penalty for late submittal. <br />
