ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – JANUARY 28, 2019 2 <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />A. State Representative Kelly Moller <br /> <br />State Representative Kelly Moller, 5835 Evergreen Lane in Shoreview, thanked the Council for <br />their time. She discussed the committees she would be serving on in 2019 and explained bills <br />would begin hearings this week. She invited the City Council to visit her at the Capitol in the <br />State Office Building. She reported on the fourth Sunday of every month she would be holding a <br />Chat with Kelly session at Shore 96 in their meeting room. She welcomed the public to attend <br />these informational events. <br /> <br />B. Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce Update <br /> <br />John Connelly, Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce President, introduced himself to the <br />Council and thanked them for their time. He discussed the vision of the Chamber for the <br />community. He provided the Council with a handout on the work being completed by the <br />Chamber. He commented on the special events that were being planned for 2019 and encouraged <br />the City Council to participate. He discussed the toolkit that was being created for businesses to <br />assist with navigating the upcoming I-35W reconstruction project, in hopes of minimizing the <br />anxiety this three-year project will create. He invited the Council to attend an Open House at the <br />Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce’s new office location on Thursday, February 14 from <br />3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung encouraged Mr. Connelly to add the City Councilmembers to their <br />email blasts. <br /> <br />5. STAFF COMMENTS <br /> <br />A. Rice Creek Commons (TCAAP) and Joint Development Authority (JDA) Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Perrault provided an update on TCAAP stating the JDA would meet next <br />on Monday, February 4, 2019. <br /> <br />6. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />A. Motion to Approve Consent Agenda Item - Claims and Payroll <br />B. Motion to Approve Planning Case 18-027 – Site Plan Review for a Sign Standard <br />Adjustment – Land O’Lakes <br />C. Motion to Approve Ordinance 2019-001 Amending 2019 Fee Schedule and <br />Authorize Publication of Summary Ordinance (TCAAP Planning Fee) <br />D. Motion to Approve Purchase of Easement Machine <br />E. Motion to Approve MNSPECT Contract for Inspection Services <br />F. Motion to Authorize Purchase of Two 2019 Ford F-150’s
