Ramsey County will <br />encourage municipalities to update <br />their local Comprehensive Plans to <br />include considerations for <br />mitigation in land use planning to <br />reduce future risk to due to <br />natural hazards (i.e., flooding). <br /> <br />City Comment: We have a 10-year <br />Comprehensive Plan that will be <br />updated in 2018 that is designed to <br />plan physical growth of the City and <br />appropriate land uses. We need to <br />update our 2018 Comprehensive <br />Plan to address greater mitigation <br />(i.e., flooding). With the Ongoing <br />issues of climate change, we are <br />seeing an increase in the number of <br />high-rain events. Our Comp Plan will <br />take new data into consideration as <br />we plan of our city. <br />County <br />funding
