Rev. 7/18 <br />AMENDMENT NUMBER 1 TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CLIENT AND KIMLEY-HORN <br />AND ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />This is Amendment number 1 dated March 25, 2019 to the agreement between City of <br />Arden Hills ("Client") and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. ("Consultant") dated June 29, 2018, <br />(“the Agreement") concerning Old Snelling Avenue Improvements (the "Project"). <br />The Consultant has entered into the Agreement with Client for the furnishing of professional <br />services, and the parties now desire to amend the Agreement. <br />The Agreement is amended to include services to be performed by Consultant for <br />compensation as set forth below in accordance with the terms of the Agreement, which are <br />incorporated by reference. <br />Consultant will perform the following services: <br />Complete construction administration of the project and closeout including: <br />· Document contaminated soils and determination of disposal location. This includes <br />subconsultant work to sample on-site material stockpiles and complete independent <br />hazardous materials tests. <br />· Determine the reduction of the culvert length to allow the project to be permitted and reduce <br />overall project construction costs, including coordination with the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District. <br />· Coordinate utility relocations required per the identified on-site utility locations. <br />· Design and modify utility plans to replace a deteriorated fire hydrant within the project limits. <br />· Provide construction observation and administration for the spring construction work that <br />was not able to be completed within the Fall 2018 construction season. <br />Consultant and Client agree to the following general schedule in connection with the services set <br />forth above: <br />The project shall be completed on or about June 1, 2019. <br />For the services set forth above, Client shall pay Consultant the following compensation: <br />Kimley-Horn will perform the services on a labor fee plus expense basis with the maximum labor <br />fee of $17,775. <br />CLIENT:CONSULTANT: <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />By: ______________________________By: ________________________________ <br />Title: _____________________________Title: _______________________________ <br />Date: _____________________________Date: _______________________________
