ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL – JUNE 10, 2019 4 <br /> <br />H. Motion to Approve Boston Scientific Corporation Site Plan <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a <br />motion to approve the Consent Calendar as presented and to authorize <br />execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />7. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />A. Quarterly Special Assessments for Delinquent Utilities <br /> <br />Mayor Grant indicated that this public hearing item regarding delinquent utilities is a quarterly, <br />recurring item and opened the public hearing at 7:24 p.m. <br /> <br />With no one coming forward to speak, Mayor Grant closed the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />9. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Resolution 2019-019 Adopting and Confirming Quarterly Special Assessments <br />for Delinquent Utilities <br /> <br />Mayor Grant introduced this item and referenced the previous public hearing. He reiterated this <br />is a quarterly item and asked the Councilmember if there were any questions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Scott requested comment from staff regarding the new automatic billing process <br />and questioned if the upgrade was causing any delinquencies. <br /> <br />Finance Director Bauman discussed the upgrade and commented she was not aware of any <br />delinquencies being created by it. She stated the upgrade seemed to be working well for the City. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br />motion to adopt Resolution #2019-019 – Adopting and Confirming Quarterly <br />Special Assessments for Delinquent Utilities. The motion carried (5-0). <br /> <br /> B. Resolution 2019-020 Accepting Bid for the Colleen Avenue Drainage <br />Improvement Project <br /> <br />Interim Public Works Director/City Engineer Polka stated on June 25, 2018, the City Council <br />approved a professional services agreement with Bolton & Menk for the design of the Colleen <br />Avenue Drainage Improvements. Plans and specifications were completed and bids were opened <br />on Wednesday, June 4, 2019. There was a total of six bids received. The following table lists the <br />bidders name and their total bid: <br />
